Atlantic Reach is a beautiful and comfortable house built in 2013 and set on a hillside overlooking Perranporth down to the sea and beach. The reverse living layout allows guests to take full advantage of the glorious views from the large upstairs open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room. Fully glazed patio doors lead out to a balcony with bistro table and two chairs from which to sit out and watch the sun setting over the sea.
Beautifully decorated in a contemporary coastal style, the stunning and spacious living area has a wooden floor and beautifully big window dressed with full length cream curtains. The room is furnished with two large comfortable sofas, TV, DVD player, and cosy corner log burner. Wifi access is included.
A wooden dining table seats six on four cushioned dining chairs and bench seating. The light and modern kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and an adjoining utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, and additional sink. There is also a WC on this floor as well.
Downstairs are the bedrooms and family bathroom. Bedroom one has a double bed (4'6"), bedroom furniture, TV, and benefits from sea views and an en-suite with shower, basin and WC. Bedroom two also has a double bed (4'6"), and bedroom three is furnished with twin beds (3 ft), TV, and has a patio door out leading out to the decking and down to the garden. The contemporary and stylish bathroom is also on the ground floor and offers a bath with electric shower, basin and WC.
Heating is via electric wall mounted heaters available in each room and the log burner in the main living room, and the water is heated by solar panels and electricity. Outside there are two parking spaces at the front and a garden to the rear. The enclosed garden can be accessed down the side of the house, or through the bedroom patio doors. Decking leads down to the lawn with flower beds and a patio with garden furniture for al fresco dining or simply sitting back and enjoying the fresh Cornish seaside air!
The property is situated in a hillside position approximately ten minutes' walk down to Perranporth's cafes, shops, bars and beach, or a two-minute drive. The three mile sandy beach is renowned as a good surfing spot, and the vast stretch of beach is perfect for sandcastles, rockpooling and sunbathing in the dunes. A tidal swimming pool is partly set into Chapel Rock on the beach and can be accessed at low tide and lifeguards are on duty on the beach during the summer. The South West coastpath provides stunning walks from Perranporth to St Agnes, or Holywell to the north, and beyond. Perranporth is an ideal base for easily accessing most of Cornwall, including St. Ives, Newquay, Falmouth, Padstow and Truro, where there are many tourist attractions to suit all the family.
