The aptly named Chapel Rock View enjoys magnificent views across Perranporth's seascape to take in the iconic Chapel Rock in the middle of the beach. Situated on Wheal Leisure the house, newly built in 2015, is a mere five minutes' (and relatively level) walk to Perranporth's shops, cafes and three-mile sandy beach.
A large driveway provides parking for three cars at the front of the house, which is arranged over three floors, with the ground floor given over to a self-contained flat for two guests. Patio doors opening out to the parking area mean that this space has its own entrance and provides a great separate area to the main house for grandparents, or other couple, holidaying with a family.
A spacious main room is furnished with a double bed (4'6”), bedroom furniture, a two-seater sofa-bed (for alternative sleeping arrangements), TV, dining table and four chairs. A kitchenette is fitted in the next room with fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and microwave. A shower room provides a shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Heating in the main room is provided by electric wall mounted heaters.
Upstairs, a large lounge and sunny kitchen make up the main living areas of the house. The lounge is furnished with two 3-seater sofas, comfy chairs, and a large Smart TV and BlueRay/DVD player. Patio doors open onto a wide balcony on which there's a hammock and chairs from which to sit and relax and enjoy the wonderful sea views.
The large bright kitchen is fitted with cream gloss cupboards with integrated fridge and freezer, dishwasher, plenty of storage, and an electric oven and hob. A large dining table with eight chairs (an additional chair can be brought up from downstairs) is perfect for family dinners, and a sofa and TV provide a place to sit and relax while waiting for the dinner to cook! An under-stairs cupboard houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and there is also a WC and basin on this floor.
Up another flight of stairs, the four bedrooms and family bathroom can be found. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed (5'), mirrored wardrobes, bedroom furniture and a TV on which to play DVDs only. French windows open to a balcony with two rocker chairs from which to appreciate those beautiful sea views. This bedroom benefits from an en-suite with shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
Bedroom two has a double bed (4'6”), bedroom three offers twin beds (3' each) and bedroom four is furnished with one single bed (3'). All bedrooms provide bedroom furniture and storage. The family bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower over, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
The garden is accessed through patio doors from the kitchen and is mostly laid to lawn (up a few steps), with a patio just outside the doors with bistro table, garden furniture and chimenea. A lean-to provides a place to store surfboards, wetsuits and beach equipment (please note the garden shed is not available to use).
Chapel Rock View is a short five-minute stroll to Perranporth's shops, tearooms, restaurants and bars, and the magnificent beach with its soft golden sand. The beach is a popular surfing spot but also has many safe areas for swimming, with lifeguards operating throughout the main season. For young children, there is a playground and boating lake in Perranporth, and many places of interest such as the Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, and National Trust properties and gardens can be reached within a short drive.
