Perran Tennis Club

With its beautiful Edwardian clubhouse, six grass courts and three hard courts this is a great spot to unleash your inner Andy Murray. Courts can be hired by non-members by the hour and coaching lessons for adults and children are also available.

Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm

Deep in the Cornish countryside you can find out how Healey's mix apples and imagination to craft their fantastic apple juices and ciders. Take a tractor ride around the distillery, visit the cider press and museum and pet the friendly animals. Then top it all off with a traditional Cornish cream tea.

St Piran's Oratory

Can you find The Lost Church? Swallowed up by the Penhale sands on several occasions over the years, the Oratory of St Piran is believed to be one of the oldest places of Christian worship in Britain. Seek out the spot to see the remains of the church and the place that’s believed to be the final resting place of Cornwall’s patron saint.   

Callestick Ice Cream Farm

Located just minutes form the north coast, Callestick cows roam where the air is fresh and the grass is green. The Parker family has been making ice cream from fresh milk and natural ingredients for over 20 years. Go and have a lick.

Perranporth Boating Lake

If the open sea seems a bit much, then with a great location in the centre of town the boating lake offers an opportunity to captain your own craft with pedalos and rowing boats for hire.

Reen Manor Riding Stables

Whether it’s your first time on a horse, or you’re an experienced equestrian, you can have the ride of your life at Reen Manor Stables. Located just outside Perranporth the stables have horses and ponies suitable for all ages and there’s the opportunity to hack along local bridleways and even explore one of Cornwall’s finest beaches.

Ticket to Ride Surf School

Located to the left of beautiful Perranporth beach as you look out to sea, Ticket to Ride offers the chance to take to the waves by hiring a board or taking part in one of their surf lessons of courses. Hang ten dudes!

Holywell Bay Golf Club

If you’re more of a pitch and putt golfer then there’s hours of fun to be had up on the hilltops at Holywell Bay with first-class fairways and Grade A greens on their 18 hole pitch and putt course with its notorious cliff-hanging 17th hole! The adjacent Fun Park also has racing, rides and games for all the family.

If your family want to try something fun and active together Newquay Activity Centre has plenty to choose from! Try surfing, bodyboarding or even coasteering - if you fancy exploring the coastline, experiencing the marine life, learning about the smugglers caves and enjoying the adrenaline buzz of leaping from the rocky edge this is for you! The Centre offer something for all ages and abilities and the whole family can learn and have fun safely together. Fistral Rangers children’s club offers fun, educational activities such as surfing, eco-coasteering, exploring caves, rock pool safaris, beach safety, bodyboarding and beach games.

Newquay Adventure Centre specialises in outdoor adventure activities for groups visiting Cornwall.
