Journey into Space

There’s a space theme at Eden this summer where visitors get to explore the solar system through a series of interactive exhibits and events. Train in the Astronaut Academy, take a Solar System Safari, discover freaky plants that are out of this world, meet space experts and encounter stranded aliens. There's something for all ages, from the opportunity to hear talks from the likes of ESA experts to the chance to let off steam in a giant inflatable spacewalk.

The beautiful Trebah Gardens will host this breathtaking vertical dance and aerial acrobatic show. Under the Direction of Doug Fransisco of Invisible Circus, Trebah’s high open spaces and tall trees will be animated and mixed with live music, spoken word and poetry over percussion as the dancers entertain overhead. Expect a visual spectacular complete with aerial acrobatics, fire breathing dragons and flying flamingos.

Beach Tag Rugby Tournament
Lusty Glaze Beach, Newquay
Friday 25th - Sunday 27th August

The tournament has been one of the highlights of the Lusty Glaze event calendar for 15 years. This year promises to be yet another fun filled weekend with great tag rugby to be enjoyed by all the family. There will be a one-day tournament on Friday followed by a two-day tournament Saturday and Sunday. Following the finals on Sunday evening there will be a trophy presentation, live music and a colourful Firework display to light up the night sky over the lovely Cornish cove.

Portscatho Regatta

This is a traditional regatta with a full programme of sailing over an exciting and highly visible course in beautiful Gerrans Bay. Besides the sailing action, shoreside events will include live music, games and food and drink. Visitors can enjoy the lively atmosphere at this traditional Cornish event.

Bowgie Inn Ale Festival
The Bowgie Inn, Crantock
Friday 25th - Monday 28th August

This cliff-top pub overlooking spectacular Crantock Beach will celebrate Cornish and national beers at its annual Ale Festival. As well as ale tasting, there will be musical entertainment and delicious food on offer throughout the weekend.

Cornwall’s longest running festival celebrates its 45th year this summer. Expect a lively atmosphere on the streets and in the pubs of Wadebridge, as some of the finest local - and some national - folk acts take to the stage. Big names include Cara Dillon and Dougie Maclean.

Newlyn will celebrate all things fishy, as Cornwall’s premier fishing port welcomes visitors to learn about the lives of fishermen and attend seafood cookery demonstrations. This is a fun event of music, entertainment and food and drink to raise money for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.
