What’s new in Perranporth

The high street in Perranporth has undergone some exciting changes in the past year, with many new businesses springing up, adding extra interest and renewed variety to the village’s independent shops.

The Baking Post

A new bakery with a fresh and modern appeal. The Baking Post makes delectable freshly baked cakes and pastries, temptingly displayed in their window each day. There are often gluten free and vegan options available, so everyone can treat themselves!

All You Can Eco

Next door to The Baking Post, All You Can Eco, a refill store, is now open for all your store cupboard needs. Take along your own container (or purchase one instore), and fill your bags and jars with flour, rice, pasta and much more, without the waste and pollution of unnecessary packaging. Plus find lots of lovely ethical and Cornish gifts and crafts.

Located at The Yard (just a little past Pickwick’s in the centre of the village), Sprout offers delicious vegan and vegetarian takeaway options such as nutrious hotpots, Sri Lankan dals and African inspired stews. There are also amazing vegan and gluten free cakes and speciality coffees. All served up with friendly service and a smile!

The Hub

A new café has opened on the high street! The Hub is a spacious café, great if you have a pushchair, also offering comfy sofas for relaxed get togethers with friends. Enjoy fresh coffee and cakes, paninis and rolls. Dog friendly and open seven days a week.

Ramen and Rice

Serving delicious noodle soups, satay and curries, from a funky silver airstream van, Ramen and Rice are the solution to your ‘what’s for dinner’ worries. Open Monday to Saturday from 5 pm, you can find them on St Pirans Road, at the back entrance to the beach (opposite the Texaco garage).

Beanz Cornwall

Now located between The Deck and the Co-op in the heart of the village, Beanz coffee van is open 10am – 4pm for takeaways or to sit at their little outdoor seating area. Freshly brewed coffees, delicious snack bowls, and iced coffee in the summer, we recommend a visit.
