Eatery places with outdoor spaces in Cornwall

With pubs and restaurants opening and we’re able to eat out once more! For now customers must be served outdoors with table service, so we’ve pulled together a round-up of some of our favourite places to eat with large outdoor spaces.

The Waterfront

A popular beachside restaurant in Perranporth, The Waterfront has a large garden laid with tables spaced apart for a comfortable dining experience. Known for their amazing burgers, loaded chips and extensive gin selection!

The Watering Hole

The bar on the beach has plenty of tables spaced on the sand to accommodate customers within social distancing regulations. Offering great pub grub, drinks, and or course that wonderful view.

Lewinnick Lodge

Enjoy fine dining at a table on the large terrace overlooking the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. Sample classic dishes made using fresh seasonal produce from local fishermen and farmers, or enjoy a Cornish breakfast in the coastal air, served from 8am – 11 am.

The Bowgie Inn

The clifftop location of The Bowgie provides what must be one of the most stunning views from a pub beer garden! Gaze down to the golden sands of Crantock beach while enjoying an alfresco Sunday roast or simply a glass of wine in the sun.

Genki

Pause for a break on the walk down to (or back from!) Trevaunance Cove for a bite to eat at this lovely little café in St Agnes with private garden, serving delicious coffee, fresh fruit smoothies, homemade cakes and waffles.

Steam at Great Western

A spectacular clifftop garden provides loads of outdoor seating at this Newquay hotel. With a children’s play area and favourite pub classics on the menu it’s a great place for a family rendezvous.

Picnicing

If you’re still unsure about sharing spaces with others, organising a picnic to eat in an outdoor location of your choice could be the perfect solution for you. But instead of having to do all the work yourself, why not treat yourself to a delicious pre-arranged picnic and enjoy a meal out with friends away from the crowds.

Dine with Iris

Choose your perfect picnic spot and book Dine With Iris to create a stunning al fresco event for you and your family. They will set the scene with flowers, crockery and glasses, rugs and pillows, and lay out your chosen menu, so all you have to do is simply turn up and enjoy!

Cornish Lavender

The lavender farm on the outskirts of Perranporth is an ideal location for outdoor get-togethers in a socially distanced safe space. Contact Cornish Lavender to enquire about booking this beautiful rural space.

Mor Grazing

For gorgeous grazing boxes, beautiful brunch boxes and perfectly presented platters, these nibbles look too good to eat! Offering Friday – Sunday delivery in the Newquay and north Cornwall areas.
