A cosy old miner's cottage just 100 metres from Perranporth beach, Cliff Nook is a traditional Cornish cottage positioned in a lovely little hideaway location only moments from the beach and nearest pub.
Entrance to the reverse level property is by a stable door which opens into the hallway. The downstairs rooms lead onto each other, with bedroom one leading to bedroom two and then on into the bathroom. Bedroom one is furnished with a double bed (4'6") and the little second room with a small single bed (2'6"), suitable for a child. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with overhead shower, heated towel rail, basin and WC.
Stairs lead up to an open plan kitchen and sitting room area. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A timber breakfast bar provides seating at bar stools for four people.
The sitting room, with beamed ceilings and Cornish stone walls, is furnished with two 2-seater sofas, a TV, DVD player and a Parkray solid fuel fireplace to cosy up in front of on cooler days. The top of the beach and the sea at high tide can be seen from the multi-paned window.
At the front of the cottage a small courtyard provides a place to sit out and enjoy the fresh Cornish seaside air. A parking permit is supplied for one car in a nearby carpark five minutes' walk away. A short stroll down the hill is the village of Perranporth with its numerous shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, and the beautiful three-mile long sandy beach and great surf.
Please be aware that there are ten uneven steps up to the cottage.
Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. These can be hired from us (£5 per bath towel), or feel free to bring your own.
