Located in a superb position high on the cliff above Perranporth's beautiful three-mile long beach, Droskyn Castle 1 boasts spectacular views out across the Atlantic Ocean. Situated in an impressive building which used to once be a majestic Edwardian hotel, Droskyn Castle 1 has one of the most enviable positions and views in Perranporth.
Spacious and comfortable, with a contemporary finish, this ground floor apartment is all on one level. With parking for two cars, Droskyn Castle 1 is accessed from the parking area along a pathway leading to the front door which opens directly into the large lounge with dining area. Glorious sea views are framed by the bay window and can be enjoyed from the comfortable cream leather corner sofa. The room is also furnished with a TV, DVD player, and glass dining table with chairs to seat six people.
A separate kitchen offers a breakfast bar with two bar stools from which to sit and enjoy a coffee looking out at those incredible views, and is fitted with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine.
Two bedrooms sleep four: bedroom one is furnished with a king sized bed (5'), wardrobe and chest of drawers, and bedroom two with twin single beds (3'each). The twin room has an en-suite toilet and basin, and a family bathroom is fitted with a shower over the bath, toilet, basin and heated towel rail.
One small dog is welcome at Droskyn Castle 1 (not on the beds or furniture please). Guests are requested to bring their own dog bed and blankets.
The apartment is heated by wall mounted night storage heaters and convector heaters. A rear exit from the hallway leads to the back of the apartment where there are communal patio areas with washing lines. There is also a communal lawned at the front of the building which guests can use to enjoy a picnic or watch the sun set over the sea.
It's a five minute downhill walk to Perranporth's bars, shops and beach, and adjacent to the property is access to the South West Coast Path leading over the cliffs to St Agnes. Perranporth is a small but vibrant seaside resort with surfing, horse riding, tennis, golf and outdoor bowls all within the local vicinity. It is also a great location on the north coast with easy access to many places of interest and tourist attractions. Only nine miles from the train station in Truro's cathedral city with direct links to London, and 13 miles from Newquay airport.
