The front entrance is approached from the driveway, where there is space for two cars to park; then into the hallway on the first floor. Jazzlea is a detached house built on a hillside, and the reversed level accommodation takes full advantage of the view from the upstairs open-plan living area. A beautifully light and bright room with high ceilings and velux windows; at one end of the room doors open from the kitchen to the patio, a lovely suntrap with outdoor seating, and at the other end large windows afford wonderful views to the dunes and across fields.

The kitchen is fitted with a built-in electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A breakfast bar seats four on stools, and a folding table can be used alongside the breakfast bar to seat another three so that seven people can dine together. The kitchen is open plan to the sitting room which is comfortably furnished with a leather corner sofa and matching armchair, a large TV and DVD player and a contemporary and cosy wood burner. 

Bedroom one is on this first floor, furnished with a leather frame double bed (4'6") and chest of drawers, and enjoys lovely views. An en-suite is fitted with a shower cubicle, WC, small basin and heated towel rail. The fact that this bedroom and shower room are on the same floor as the living areas, plus there is a ramp to the front door, means that this could be a suitable property for someone with mobility problems holidaying with others.

Down the carpeted stairs to the lower floor are three more bedrooms: the master bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed (5'), chest of drawers, and mirrored doors to a built-in wardrobe. Patio doors open out to the garden, and an en-suite is fitted with a shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Bedroom three is a twin (two single 3' beds) and mirrored doors open to a built-in wardrobe. Bedroom four is furnished with a single bed (3') in matching brown leather.

The family bathroom is fitted with a bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail. A good-sized utility room provides a useful space for shoes and beach equipment, and the washing machine can also be found here. A back door leads out to the side of the house and round to the enclosed lawned garden.

Jazzlea is heated by solar panels and a central heating system (in addition to the wood burner); it has Wifi, and two private parking spaces. Perranporth's three-mile sandy beach and the village amenities are a ten-minute downhill walk (a little longer coming back up!). One small dog accepted, upon request, and must not be left unattended within the property.

Perranporth is an excellent base from which to explore the rest of Cornwall, and has a good selection of restaurants, cafes and independent shops. The magnificent beach, championship golf course, horse riding, bowling and tennis courts are all within the village and a wide selection of interesting places such as Padstow with its lovely old harbour, the art of St. Ives, marine heritage of Falmouth, shops of the Cathedral City of Truro and stunning beaches of Newquay are all within an easy 40-minute drive.
