With all the character of an older property and the conveniences of modern living, the cottage is characterised by low oak beams, tiled floors (with underfloor heating downstairs), small shuttered windows and a cosy wood burning stove. A mixture of traditional and contemporary furnishings add style and comfort to the cosy rooms. 


The semi-detached cottage benefits from a good sized enclosed garden with level lawn, mature palms, buddleia and fruit trees, a patio area with garden furniture and a barbecue, and a summer house which can be used for the storage of bikes and beach equipment. There is parking for two cars outside the property. 


The front door opens into the kitchen with low beamed ceilings (mind your head!), a pretty bay window behind the kitchen sink, and which is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, washer / dryer and a table with two chairs. A back door opens out to a small patio with rotary washing line.  


From the kitchen two steps lead up to the bathroom and first bedroom. The bathroom, with a flagstone floor, has a bath with a handheld shower, a separate large shower cubicle, WC and basin. Bedroom one is furnished with a double bed and small chest of drawers.  


Back through the kitchen, two steps descend into the sitting room / dining room which has a large pine table with eight chairs. The sitting room is furnished with a large 3-seater and 2-seater leather sofas, and one armchair, providing ample comfortable seating from which to enjoy the feature fireplace with wood burner, TV, DVD and numerous books, games and DVDs. The cottage windows have shutters and cushioned window seats looking out to the garden. A back door opens out to the garden.  


Upstairs are two bedrooms and a WC with basin. One bedroom has twin single beds (3ft), chest of drawers and dressing table, and the other a king sized bed (5ft) and wash hand basin. Both bedrooms benefit from views over the garden and wall mounted electric panel heaters.  


Perfect for a family holiday, all the amenities, shops and cafes of Perranporth - plus the spectacular South West coast path - are all just a short walk away. Perranporth boasts a beautiful three mile long beach with golden sand and good surf, and is ideally placed on the north coast to explore the rest that Cornwall has to offer: just eight miles to the cathedral city of Truro; and Padstow, St Ives and Falmouth are all within an easy 40 minute drive.


Pets: 2 small pets welcome all year round for bookings made after 1st September 2018, the dog must always be supervised and not left in the property on its own.


Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. Towels can be hired from us at £6 per person (one bath towel and one hand towel), or feel free to bring your own.


Please note that to the side of Mill Cottage there is an adjoining garage that has been converted into an annexe. The annexe is a separate self contained unit and has no access to the garden but is occasionally occupied by the owners.
