A delightful first floor apartment, Penhale boasts sea views from the living room and double bedroom, and is conveniently located only five minutes' walk from Perranporth village's shops, bars, restaurants, magnificent three-mile long sandy beach and great surf.
Adjacent to the owner's accommodation within a detached house, Penhale's facilities are however completely separate. Sleeping up to three people, it can be booked with neighbouring apartment Droskyn (DRO424) - which also sleeps up to three - for two couples, or families holidaying together.
A rear entrance opens to stairs that lead up to Penhale on the first floor. The open plan kitchen and lounge enjoys wonderful views from two large windows and is fully equipped and fitted with electric cooker and hob, microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment. A breakfast bar with two stools provides a dining space and the sitting room area is furnished with a sofa and armchair, small TV and DVD player.
The fresh and comfortable bedroom also has views to the beach and is furnished with a double bed (4'6”) and ample bedroom furniture. A cot and highchair are both supplied and a camp bed can be provided on request for additional sleeping arrangements. The bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, WC and basin.
Penhale is heated by portable electric heaters and there is parking for one car on the drive at the front of the house. There is no garden, however outdoor seating at a bistro table and chairs is provided at the ground-level entrance to the apartment.
Perranporth is a lively seaside community offering surfing, kite surfing, golf, horse-riding, tennis, bowling and gliding. The towering cliffs above the beach provide some of the most spectacular natural scenery, and with the South West Coast Path has stunning walks either north to Newquay or south to St Agnes.
Truro, Newquay, Padstow, Falmouth and St Ives are all easily accessible by car, making this apartment an ideal location from which to explore Cornwall. If you don't have a car, a bus service runs frequently from the village and the mainline rail station in Truro is only a 15-minute cab ride away.
