Patio doors from the bedroom open to the front of the house and make this is bright and airy room. Bedroom two also has patio doors with the same aspect and is furnished with a wardrobe and double sofa bed, which has been topped with a proper 4'6" double bed mattress for comfort.


Bedroom three has a triple bunk bed (a double bed underneath and a single bed above), and bedroom storage. The family bathroom on this ground floor level has been fitted with a bath with a shower over it, WC, basin and heated towel rail.


Up the stairs, the open plan living area reveals itself, with a large and light sitting room furnished with a comfortable five-seater corner sofa, a big snuggle 'love seat' swivel armchair to seat two, a TV, and a dining table with six chairs. A wood burner in the centre of the room (and oil fired central heating throughout the house) mean that this spacious room, with wooden floors and high raftered ceiling, is kept warm and cosy even on chillier days. The floor to ceiling glass doors afford incredible views across Perranporth, the tennis courts and down to the sand dunes, and fully fold back to open up to the wide balcony for an uninterrupted vista.


Around the other side of the stairs, but still sharing the same open plan space, the kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, large fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Also on this level is a cloakroom with WC and basin, a laundry drying room and a porch for coats and shoes.


The back door from this level opens from the porch onto a decked space with picnic table, comfortable seating, and a raised area with gas barbecue and seating. A lovely little sun trap in which to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day sightseeing! A few steps lead down to the lawn with washing line, children's slide and trampoline, and a covered table and chairs on a patio area. Further steps descend to the main entrance on the ground floor.


Sandcastle is a short five-minute downhill stroll to Perranporth's shops, tearooms, restaurants and bars, and the magnificent beach with its three miles of soft golden sand. The beach is a popular surfing spot but also has many safe areas for swimming, with lifeguards operating throughout the main season. For young children, there is a playground only a minutes' walk from Sandcastle, and many places of interest such as the Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, and National Trust properties and gardens can be reached within a short drive.


Please note that there are lots of steps at this property and areas where young children will need to be supervised at all times. This property accepts one well behaved small breed dog.
