Three sets of patio doors open onto the balcony from the ground floor, flooding this fresh and bright property with light. Bedroom one is furnished with a double bed (4'6?), wardrobe and chest of drawers and has doors out to the balcony. Bedroom two also has a double bed (4'6?) and bedroom storage, and bedroom three is furnished with twin single beds (3').  

The sunny and welcoming sitting room is comfortably furnished with a sofa and armchair. A log burner ensures the house is warm and cosy even in the chillier months, and stairs to the upper floor ascend from this room.  

The fully equipped kitchen/diner is a lovely airy space, with high ceilings and those wonderful views. Fitted with a Rangemaster electric oven with induction hob, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher, marble worktops and a Belfast sink for a classic look and lovely finish. A dining table and four benches to seat eight are positioned by the patio doors.  

Through to the utility room, there's an additional sink, under-counter freezer and washing machine. A shower room is fitted with shower cubicle, WC, basin and a heated towel rail, and a back door from the utility room leads out of the property to a short-cut to the cliff path. There is also a fully tiled family bathroom on this floor with bath, shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail. Upstairs, bedroom four has a vaulted ceiling and velux windows, and is furnished with twin single beds (3'), a chest of drawers and a desk. The room is open plan to the stairway.  

Tchiklos offers a perfect retreat for a family get-away: 15 minutes' walk to the shops and cafes of Perranporth, the three miles of golden sands and good surf.  Within easy walking distance of Tchiklos is the boating lake, children's play park, tennis courts and bowls; and horse riding, a championship golf course, and parachuting from the local airfield are less than five minutes' drive.

The cathedral city of Truro and beautiful beaches of Newquay are both only nine miles away and a wide selection of tourist attractions and places of interest can be found within a short drive, including the Eden Project, National Trust properties and gardens, Padstow, St Ives and Falmouth.

    It was an absolute pleasure to stay in Tchiklos - a real home from home - and we felt very privileged to have been the first people to stay there. The home has been beautifully refurbished, tastefully decorated and affords a tranquil view across the Perranporth countryside to be enjoyed with a morning cuppa before hitting the beach or an evening meal after a pleasant day out. Perranporth town and its fantastic beach is only a 5 minute drive away and easily within walking distance. We had a great time there and felt very much at home in Tchiklos. Just relaxing in pleasant surroundings with a superb view was part of the holiday for us - we all spend far too much time rushing around so it was nice to slow down and draw breath for a change. It is a pleasure to leave this positive feedback as there were absolutely no negatives! We will definitely be back at some point!
