Treth Cottage

Perranporth

Property Description

A lovely traditional Cornish cottage with a good sized south facing garden, Treth Cottage is a terraced three bedroom property dating back to 1850, situated only 150 metres from Perranporth's beautiful beach.

Entry is in through the back from the parking space, directly into the kitchen which is fitted with pale blue units, an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and combined washer/dryer. A separate dining room is furnished with dining table and six chairs, and the sunny sitting room provides a comfortable sofa, three armchairs and a TV with DVD player.

Full of character and charm, Treth Cottage has beamed ceilings and tiled flooring, and as with many older cottages please be aware that there are some doorways and stairwells with restricted height.

Two bedrooms on the first floor are furnished with a double bed in each (4'6" each) and the shower room on this floor is fitted with a shower cubicle and basin. The WC is in a separate room. Up again to the second floor, there is restricted headroom up the stairs to bedroom three, which has two single beds (3' each). Treth Cottage is heated by Economy 7 heaters and has a telephone for incoming and emergency calls only.

Outside, the enclosed garden at the front offers a lush green lawn and garden furniture. The garden is separated from the back door by a small public footpath (rarely used), and the driveway fits one car. A shed close to the parking space is useful for storing bikes and beach equipment.

Additional parking for one car is available at the Methodist Church for £3 a day. You'll find a permit in the kitchen upon arrival. Please place the permit back in position and leave the money for parking in the property when you leave.

The north coast of Cornwall is exceptionally beautiful, with dramatic scenery and a unique landscape of mining heritage. Perranporth is a vibrant village, with many independent shops, bars and restaurants, a spectacular three-mile sandy beach with towering sand dunes and great Atlantic swell for surfing. Close to St. Agnes, Truro and Newquay, Perranporth is an ideal location to explore Cornwall and enjoy numerous beaches, glorious coastal walks and tourist attractions. The village itself offers a championship golf course, riding stables, tennis courts, bowling, a boating lake and surf schools.
