A beautiful spacious, detached house to sleep 12 people, Virginia House has a large enclosed garden, ample parking, and is situated less than 100 metres from Perranporth's spectacular three mile sandy beach and renowned surf.
The accommodation in this lovely traditional house is arranged over three floors. The entrance hall leads to a roomy kitchen/diner, well equipped with a good range of units, electric cooker and hob, microwave, two fridges, a dishwasher and a large wooden dining table with chairs to seat ten people. A utility room just off the kitchen houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a freezer can be found in the boiler room, accessed from the courtyard.
The comfortable separate sitting room is furnished with two sofas and an armchair, a TV with DVD player, and a hidden pull-down bar (sorry, drinks not supplied!). Also downstairs is a double bedroom (4'6? bed), a children's playroom, and a downstairs WC.
On the first floor, bedrooms two and three are furnished with a double bed (4'6?) in each, bedroom four with twin beds (3' each) and bedroom five provides a single high sleeper (3') and a single bed (3'). The family bathroom is fitted with a bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and basin.
Up a second flight of stairs, the master bedroom is located on the top floor, with a super king-size bed (6'), en suite shower, WC and basin, and wardrobes cleverly disguised behind a hidden door! Virginia House is double glazed and has central heating for cooler days.
Outside, an impressive sized garden provides plenty of space for children to play and run off excess energy, while al fresco lunches or evening drinks can be enjoyed at a seating area on the patio. The driveway has space for three or four cars to park.
Perranporth's beautiful three mile long sandy beach, popular with surfers and families, is only 100 metres away, as is the independent high street with a selection of shops, surf hire, pubs and restaurants. Perranporth is also an excellent base for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer; just nine miles to both the cathedral city of Truro and the beaches of Newquay.
Numerous attractions and places of interest including Padstow, Falmouth, St Ives, the Eden Project, Healey's Cyder Farm and many National Trust gardens can all be reached within a 40 minute drive. The stunning Cornish coastline is literally just around the corner - we particularly recommend a scenic walk along the South West Coast Path to the picturesque village of St Agnes or to the lovely beach at Holywell Bay!
Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. Towels can be hired from us at £6 per person (one bath towel and one hand towel), or feel free to bring your own.
