Virginia House

Property Description

A spacious, very comfortably furnished, double glazed family house to sleep up to 12 people, situated less than 100 metres from the golden sands of Perranporth beach.

Accommodation in this striking detached house is spacious and has been arranged over three floors. The entrance hall leads to a large kitchen/diner which is well equipped with a good range of units, a large electric cooker, microwave, two fridges and dishwasher. A utility room just off the kitchen houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a freezer can be found in the boiler room, accessed from the courtyard. A large wooden dining table with chairs to seat ten people is situated in the open plan kitchen/dining area.

The comfortable separate lounge has two sofas and one armchair to seat eight people, a TV with DVD player and a hidden pull-down bar (sorry drinks not supplied!). Also downstairs is a bedroom with a double bed (4'6"), a children's playroom, and a downstairs WC.

On the first floor, bedrooms two and three each have a double bed (4'6"), bedroom four if furnished with two single beds (3'), and bedroom five has a single high sleeper (3') and a single bed (3'). Also on the first floor is the family bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, basin and WC. Up a second flight of stairs, the master bedroom (bedroom six) can be found on the tp floor with a super king sized bed (6'), ensuite with shower, WC and basin, and wardrobes cleverly disguised behind a hidden door!

The house has central heating for the cooler days, a very large enclosed level garden to the front of the house, with an outdoor seating area, and a driveway large enough for 3 or 4 medium sized cars.

Perranporth's beautiful three mile long sandy beach, popular with surfers and families, is a mere 100 metres away as are surf hire facilities, and a good selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Perranporth is also an excellent base for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer and is within an easy drive of Newquay, Truro, Padstow, Falmouth, St Ives and Land's End. A variety of Cornwall's best tourist attractions, including the Eden Project, Healey's Cyder Farm, Dairyland and many National Trust gardens can all be reached within a 40 minute drive. The stunning Cornish coastline is literally just around the corner; we particularly recommend a scenic walk along the South West Coast Path to the picturesque village of St Agnes or to the lovely beach at Holywell Bay!

Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. Towels can be hired from us at £6 per person (one bath towel and one hand towel), or feel free to bring your own.
