A beautiful new property in the stylish Waves row of houses in Perranporth, Crest View is a light, contemporary three storey family house in a small terrace less than five minutes’ level walk from the beach. With parking for two cars and beautiful sea views, Crest View welcomes up to three dogs (on request) and offers a fully enclosed patio garden.

The front door opens from the allocated parking spaces, with electric vehicle charging point, into a spacious hall with plenty of space for coats and shoes. A storage room opens from the hall (and can also be accessed directly from the parking area), perfect for bringing in bikes, boards and beach equipment.

The Sunset Room ground floor bedroom is furnished with a double bed (4’6”), wardrobe and Smart TV. Patio doors open to the garden, and a large en-suite wet room is ideal for guests with mobility problems. The fully tiled en-suite also has a door to the hall (enabling it to be used as a downstairs facility without having to go through the bedroom), and is fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet, large sink and heated towel rail. There is also a utility room on this ground floor, with sink, storage, washing machine, tumble dryer and a back door opening to the garden.

On the first floor three further bedrooms sleep six. The family bathroom is fully tiled and fitted with a shower over the bath, large sink unit, toilet and heated towel rail. Bedroom two, the Piskie Room has bunk beds (3’ each), hanging storage and two beanbags, and enjoys a sea view. Blinds are fitted in all bedrooms.

Bedroom three, the Sunshine Room, is furnished with a double bed (4’6”), hanging storage, a chest of drawers, and a fantastic view of Perranporth beach across to Chapel Rock from the full length windows. The Nautical Room, is the master bedroom, furnished with a king sized bed (5’), built-in wardrobe, hand fold-away desk and an en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet and basin.

Up again to the second floor, a beautifully light and bright open plan room has high apex ceilings and light streaming in from full length windows at both ends of the property. The fresh and modern kitchen includes a large island with induction hob, plenty of storage space, and two bar stools. The kitchen is fitted with integrated appliances including electric oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler and plate warmer, and a slide out larder cupboard.

A dining table seats eight on two benches and two chairs, and at the other end of the room is the large smart TV and two leather sofas (one 3-seater and one 2-seater) which are arranged to appreciate the gorgeous coastal view. Full length sliding doors open to the balcony with a bistro table and two chairs – the perfect place to enjoy an evening drink while watching the sun set over the ocean.

The fully enclosed patio at the back provides a retractable washing line, a wetsuit rack, and an outdoor table and four chairs to sit out and enjoy the sun. A lockable gate opens to the side path, ideal when coming back from the beach, to be able to enter into the garden and rinse off using the heated outdoor shower.

Crest View is one of a small terrace, and 2 Waves, 3 Waves and 5 Waves can also be booked for larger groups holidaying together.

Perranporth boasts a beautiful three mile long sandy beach with undulating dunes, a tidal swimming pool built into the striking Chapel Rock, and rock pools that are perfect for paddling. Swim and surf in the big blue, explore caves and enjoy the space to stretch, run and breathe. Take a picnic for lazy hazy days in the dunes or take the dog and relish the three mile expanse of golden sand.

  • Culture and History

St Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall, is said to have washed up on Perranporth’s shores, and the remains of his 6th century oratory can still viewed in the dunes. Perranporth was the site for two tin mines in years gone by and the inspiration for Winston Graham’s Poldark novels which were all written here. High above the beach the millennium sundial tracks Cornish time (approximately 12 minutes later than GMT).

  • Food and Drink

From fine dining to fish and chips on the promenade, Perranporth has a wide array of food and drink, so you can treat yourself to time away from the kitchen. Share delicious tapas, try vegan street food, or enjoy great bar food in sunny gardens. Local takeaways include Indian, Chinese, Thai and pizza, and remember to leave room for an indulgent Cornish ice cream or post dinner local gin!

  • Get Active

The north coast of Cornwall is made for adventure. In addition to the wild playgrounds of the beaches there are also loads of organised activities available too. Book lessons with a surf school, gallop a horse along the beach, and play tennis at beautifully maintained grass and hard courts. There’s also a links golf course in the dunes, hang-gliding, a bowling green, children’s play park and boating lake.

  • Local Attractions

There’s plenty to see and do in the local area, without having to travel too far. Within a short drive of all our properties, visitors can pet farm animals and sample the local cyder at Healeys Cyder Farm, find out how ice cream is made (and of course treat yourself to some!) at Callestick Farm Cornish Ice Cream, and discover the ruins of St Piran’s Oratory in the sand dunes at Perranporth. Dairyland, with horse rides, farm animals, and a huge soft play area, is a great day out for families with young children, as is Lappa Valley Steam Railway with train rides and play park and exploring creatures of the deep at Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium at Towan Beach.

  • Explore Cornwall

Slightly further afield is The Eden Project with its famous biomes, the National Trust houses of Lanhydrock, Trelissick and Trerice, and the spectacular gardens of Glendurgan, Trebah and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From the rugged and dramatic north coast to the sheltered harbours of south coast fishing villages, everyone is bound to find a corner of Cornwall that captures their heart. Visit St Ives for cobbled streets and art galleries including the Tate St Ives, walk the causeway to St Michael’s Mount island off Marazion, and explore Falmouth’s fascinating maritime history. Padstow is a foodie’s heaven, while Truro boasts a stunning Gothic Revival cathedral and is the county’s shopping hub.

Our first time using Aspect Holidays, cannot recommend them high enough. Had a fantastic holiday in Perranporth, and the grandkids had a wonderful time on a clean, well monitored beach. Fantastic job, well done.

We had a fabulous week. So close to shops, beach and restaurants.
1 waves, had everything you wanted in a holiday house, great views of the beach and comfortable beds, and being dog friendly. Have already booked again.

Loved the property, everything very clean, and spacious. Good to have the parking spaces.
Had a fab holiday, first time in Perranporth, weather was gorgeous, lots of coastal walks, cafes and bars, beach great for the dogs.
Popped in to see the Aspects ladies who were very helpful and gave us some more bin bags.
Property would benefit from having some larger sofas, and a balcony clean to appreciate the lovely view.
