This delightful early 19th century semi-detached cottage with its beamed ceilings has been sensitively and imaginatively renovated to retain its Cornish character and charm. It has a wood burner in the lounge and night storage heaters, which creates cosy and comfortable accommodation throughout the year, close to one of Cornwall's National Trust beaches. Chapel Porth can be reached by car (less than five minutes) or by foot (a steep hill down to the beach). The village of St Agnes can be reached within a ten minute walk where there are numerous village shops, traditional Cornish pubs and restaurants. The cottage has parking at the front and a rear garden with a pleasant and secluded outlook.
The entrance is into the kitchen via the conservatory, which overlooks a rear garden. A spacious kitchen / diner is equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and a pine table and chairs to accommodate a family of four. Small but cosy, the lounge has a contemporary wood burner, TV and DVD player and cottage-style three-piece suite. The property also has night storage heaters fitted throughout. Upstairs, bedroom one is furnished with a super king bed (6ft) and bedroom two has twin beds (3ft). The family bathroom has an electric shower fitted, wash hand basin and WC. Outisde, a good sized lawn area is fairly secluded with plenty of trees and shrubs.
Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. Towels can be hired from us at £6 per person (one bath towel and one hand towel), or feel free to bring your own.
