Our experienced marketing team will promote your property via strategic advertising campaigns, using both digital and print media, from our popular printed brochure to our website, social media channels and third party adverts and collaborations. Our website receives on average 624,000 hits per year, whilst our social media posts reach over 48,000 people per month! Our targeted advertising ensures that previous customers are encouraged to return and new customers are inspired to book for the first time.



Our bi-annual brochure is designed and printed locally, featuring captivating editorial content showcasing Perranporth and St Agnes as the ultimate UK holiday destination. All properties are listed in the brochure, alongside key holiday information.



Our annual commission is charged at a competitive 18% plus VAT. There are no set up or registration fees. Commission isn’t charged on owner bookings. Cleaning and linen charges are extra, if you choose to use Duchy Holidays for housekeeping (see Housekeeping for more details).



All guests are charged a security deposit at the time of booking, to cover any extra cleaning or damage after a booking. You will need to ensure that you have house insurance, including public liability up to £5 million, for the highly unusual event of larger scale damage being caused. Security deposits are returned to the guest after check-out, once the property has been checked.



We are on call 24 hours a day with our emergency/maintenance phoneline for guests (and owners) in case of any emergencies or urgent maintenance issues. We are always on stand-by to help, whether it’s a lost key or burst pipe. Charges may apply to maintenance call-outs, however we can agree a limit for work costs with you, so we can get the job done with minimal disruption for you and the guests.



From promoting your property, to taking bookings, check in, guest liaison, check out and changeover, we offer a complete management service for your holiday home… so you won’t have to worry about a thing.


Getting started

If you’re interested in letting with Duchy Holidays, get in touch and we’ll be happy to book a consultation to discuss the potential of your property. We will come and view your property, set the tariff and take photos for our website. We supply all the necessary guidance and paperwork to make it easy to get started.



We can provide a fully managed housekeeping service for property cleaning and changeovers, or you can arrange your own. Our team of experienced housekeepers provide a high standard of service to ensure your guests’ expectations are met. We take pride in every aspect of administration to ensure efficient communication amongst each other throughout all tasks.

We recommend a specific Insurance Policy via our local Insurance Broker for our property owners and specifically for holiday home rentals, also covering buildings and contents and public liability. Your own policy is also welcome, however you must inform them that you are letting your property as a holiday home.


Jam first

We can offer hampers to guests staying at your property (at an additional cost per hamper), so that they arrive after a long drive to a basket of the basics, and a proper Cornish welcome of a cream tea… jam first of course!



Duchy Holidays has been operating successfully in Perranporth for more than 25 years, building a wealth of experience and expert knowledge in holiday lettings in the local area. The team are highly skilled in tourism, hospitality, customer service and marketing, delivering a knowledgeable and friendly face for self-catering accommodation on Cornwall’s north coast.


Linen and towels

Bed linen is provided with all of our property lettings. You can either organise this yourself or take advantage of our housekeeping and laundry service. We use a local laundry company and provide high thread count, hotel-quality bed linen. We can also offer towels, bathmats and tea towels, and the laundering of these, at competitive rates. During your guests’ stay our maintenance team are on hand to deal with any issues that may occur, such as plumbing repairs, faulty appliances or breakages – up to a financial limit set by you – allowing us to respond quickly with minimal disruption for both you and the guest. We also offer larger scale works such as garden maintenance, repairs and decorating.


North Cornwall

We are the local area experts and pride ourselves on offering the best value and information on this area of the coast. Focusing on destination-marketing and understanding the region allows us to better market to our key audiences and bring in a better return on your property. We also operate Perranporth Tourist Information, our team always know what’s on and where to go… and added bonus and extra service for our guests.


Owners newsletter

We keep owners up to date with a monthly newsletter sharing news, industry updates, trends, hints and tips to ensure you’re well-informed and getting the best from your holiday let.



Owner payments are processed at the start of each month and paid in arrears for bookings commencing in the previous month. Payments are transferred via BACS direct into your bank account, and you’ll receive an owner statement each month.



Our properties are handpicked to meet the standards expected by our guests. Our team regularly inspect the properties, to ensure we continue to offer well presented, comfortable, quality properties.



We ensure that you are fully aware of your legal obligations when it comes to your holiday home. All healthy and safety, hygiene, insurance, gas and fire regulations are listed in your property paperwork for holiday homes and signed off by owners and our team to ensure properties meet the standards required.


Short breaks & small parties

To maximise your sales and to capitalise on tourism trends we offer short breaks and small party discounts to boost sales in quieter weeks, outside of school holidays and peak season. As an owner you can choose whether to offer short breaks and approve any discounts on your property.



We offer a competitive holiday tariff that follows the market value and will suggest pricing for your property based on a number of factors including location, number of beds, amenities and our expert knowledge of the market. Tariffs will be reviewed and discussed when you book a property consultation.

Welcome folder

We create a personalised welcome folder for your property which includes useful property details, local guides and legally required fire safety notices. These folders must be displayed at all times and are also a great source of information for your guests.


Xmas and New Year

We are open all year round including offering lets at Christmas, New Year and throughout the winter months as well as the popular summer weeks.


Your bookings

You will be notified by email of any bookings we make, the number of adults, children and pets in the booking, and how long they will be staying for. If you wish to book any dates for yourself just contact us and we will block those out. In the event of a guest cancelling their booking, they are still liable for the cost of the holiday unless and until we re-let the cancelled week.


Zero Tolerance
