Family Holidays by the Cornish Coast

Whether it’s your first holiday with a young family, or you’re bribing your older teenagers to still come away with you, a self-catering break in Cornwall ticks all the boxes for a memorable get-together with your loved ones.

Self-catering allows everyone to come and go as they please, so if the teenagers want to stay out surfing, Grandad fancies visiting a café for a coffee, but the toddlers need to get back for an afternoon nap, you’ll have the convenience of your own place to return to whenever you choose and everybody gets to enjoy greater flexibility on their family holiday in Cornwall.

If you’re looking after the pennies, a fully equipped kitchen means there’s no need to eat out every day, so it’s easier to stick to a budget. You can make family dinners to eat in your comfortable holiday accommodation or prepare picnics for days at the beach. You can also take the holiday at your own pace: leisurely breakfasts? Why not? A sundowner on the deck once the kids are in bed? Absolutely!

With an entire property to spread out in, all the family should be able to find themselves a quiet corner to relax in without getting under each other’s feet (particularly useful at those times of the year when the weather can’t be relied on so much!).

Many of our self-catering properties for family holidays in Perranporth and St Agnes provide highchairs and cots, but if they’re not in the property that you choose then they can be hired from us for a small fee, so you don’t have to worry about squeezing even more into the car.

We still have availability at some of our lovely family properties for the upcoming February half term, see below for some inspiration! This year the May school half term coincides with Perranporth’s family-friendly music festival on the beach, Tunes in the Dunes (24 – 26 May 2019), so Perranporth accommodation is booking up fast. We have a handful of properties still available for family holidays in Perranporth, so you can get planning your 2019 family break to Cornwall!
