Only a short stroll from the hustle and bustle of this thriving seaside village and offering beautiful views towards Perranporth beach, 2 Waves is a fabulous place to spend a week or longer with friends and family.
Step from the driveway into a spacious entrance hall, with a ground floor bedroom offering a sumptuous king size bed and “Jack and Jill” wet room. Doors open from the bedroom into an enclosed garden and a utility room on the ground floor is a useful addition for families, with a door out to the garden.
From the hallway, stairs lead to three stylish bedrooms and family bathroom on the first floor. A bunk bedroom decorated with fun, coastal hues is the ideal sleepover base for children. Bedroom three is furnished with another king size bed and overlooks the garden. Bedroom four boasts an en suite shower room and zip and link beds, which provides a flexible sleeping choice for both children and couples. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, perfect for a relaxing soak after a busy day.
A second staircase leads up to the gorgeous open plan living space on the second floor, offering a lavish corner sofa for sinking into, a Smart Frame TV, delightful views across the rooftops and space for the whole family to dine together in style. Juliet balconies on either side of the room allow you to let in the fresh Cornish air. Enjoy a morning coffee at the breakfast island, as the chef of the family prepares a hearty breakfast on the induction hob. The kitchen has all you need, with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and even a Nespresso coffee machine.
A third and final set of stairs lead to a third floor sunroom, complete with sofa and even a bar! Doors lead out onto a beach facing balcony, giving guests an elevated view of the beach and sea beyond, a delightful spot for an evening drink as the sun sinks into the horizon. There is an electric charging point on the driveway and a storeroom on the ground floor is perfect for keeping your beach gear. With families in mind there is a highchair and a cot available, and your four legged family members don’t need to miss out on the action, with up to two dogs welcome.

Beach Life
Perranporth boasts a beautiful three mile long sandy beach with undulating dunes, a tidal swimming pool built into the striking Chapel Rock, and rock pools that are perfect for paddling. Swim and surf in the big blue, explore caves and enjoy the space to stretch, run and breathe. Take a picnic for lazy hazy days in the dunes or take the dog and relish the three mile expanse of golden sand.
Culture and History
St Piran, the patron saint of Cornwall, is said to have washed up on Perranporth’s shores, and the remains of his 6th century oratory can still viewed in the dunes. Perranporth was the site for two tin mines in years gone by and the inspiration for Winston Graham’s Poldark novels which were all written here. High above the beach the millennium sundial tracks Cornish time (approximately 12 minutes later than GMT).
Food and Drink
From fine dining to fish and chips on the promenade, Perranporth has a wide array of food and drink, so you can treat yourself to time away from the kitchen. Share delicious tapas, try vegan street food, or enjoy great bar food in sunny gardens. Local takeaways include Indian, Chinese, Thai and pizza, and remember to leave room for an indulgent Cornish ice cream or post dinner local gin!
Get Active
The north coast of Cornwall is made for adventure. In addition to the wild playgrounds of the beaches there are also loads of organised activities available too. Book lessons with a surf school, gallop a horse along the beach, and play tennis at beautifully maintained grass and hard courts. There’s also a links golf course in the dunes, hang-gliding, a bowling green, children’s play park and boating lake.
Local Attractions
There’s plenty to see and do in the local area, without having to travel too far. Within a short drive of all our properties, visitors can pet farm animals and sample the local cyder at Healeys Cyder Farm, find out how ice cream is made (and of course treat yourself to some!) at Callestick Farm Cornish Ice Cream, and discover the ruins of St Piran’s Oratory in the sand dunes at Perranporth. Dairyland, with horse rides, farm animals, and a huge soft play area, is a great day out for families with young children, as is Lappa Valley Steam Railway with train rides and play park and exploring creatures of the deep at Newquay's Blue Reef Aquarium at Towan Beach.

Slightly further afield is The Eden Project with its famous biomes, the National Trust houses of Lanhydrock, Trelissick and Trerice, and the spectacular gardens of Glendurgan, Trebah and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. From the rugged and dramatic north coast to the sheltered harbours of south coast fishing villages, everyone is bound to find a corner of Cornwall that captures their heart. Visit St Ives for cobbled streets and art galleries including the Tate St Ives, walk the causeway to St Michael’s Mount island off Marazion, and explore Falmouth’s fascinating maritime history. Padstow is a foodie’s heaven, while Truro boasts a stunning Gothic Revival cathedral and is the county’s shopping hub.

We had a lovely week for October half term. We had a few issues with the property which Cara from Aspects sorted out swiftly. The house is in a perfect location to the village and beach. The interior design of the house is stunning. There is only 1 TV in the whole property and could lend itself to another in the sun room and in the bedrooms. The plugs are all there ready for them! The outside shower was brilliant for getting rid of the sand after coming back from the beach. Hot water too!

What can I say about 2 Waves - Wow, it didn't disappoint! Fabulous views.
Home from home, couldn't ask for anymore. It was really well equipped and you was even equipped for the beach. The location was ideal, within 5 minute walk to beach, restaurants, bars and shops.
I have stayed in a few holiday homes in Perrenporth and this has to be the best so far, with its location.
I would recommend 2 Waves and I will certainly be back.

Really beautiful place to stay. Amazing views, really comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of books, games and magazines. Decor was lovely. Super place in a great location.
Our stay was a return visit to this property.
The location, decor and property itself are all just what we wanted.
It is a very short walk to the centre, the beach and all facilities.
It is worth noting though that it does cover 4 floors with relatively steep stairs. So it is likely not ideal for folks with mobility issues.
The top floor bar/balcony is worth the climb though. If nothing else for the wonderful views!
Please note. The seagulls are not toilet trained. Don't leave anything outside on the balcony , especially the seating cushions etc. when you are not around, as the seagulls will certainly deposit you some unwanted presents.

We were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful property with its amazing views, faultless decor and finishing touches. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making 2 Waves feel like a home from home. You can spend hours watching the sea from the balcony or from the comfort of the lounge on the floor below. The kitchen is high spec and more than fully equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms are luxurious. The owners have thought of everything, from the provision of a bbq and fans for each bedroom to nice touches like cold bags and windbreaks for the beach. This is by far the most spoilt we have felt in a holiday home and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at 2 Waves.

It seems we were the very first guest at Waves 2. It proved in all respects to be truly first class.
All features of the property are splendid.
Location is great. Anything in Perranporth is just a short walk, and the views from the property are superb.
We understand that the owner is an interior designer; it shows. Furniture was all of quality and décor was exceptional.
The property is fully equipped to a high standard, a full set of kitchen items and all you might need on holiday, including beach toys for children, a BBQ and beach buggy, high quality picnic bags, (two at that), comprehensive sets of games, books and more.
There is plenty of space in this bright and warm property. It is on 4 floors though, so not great if you cannot handle stairs.
Cleanliness was excellent.
A very nice welcome pack of Cornish food items etc. was also an impressive extra.
I cannot find any point to criticise except perhaps for the prevalence of incontinent seagulls. So, on a practical matter, pack away/cover items on the balcony or in the garden when not in use.
Certainly, we will find it hard to find a holiday property that matches the quality of this one.
