An attractively furnished cosy 18th Century end of terrace cottage, pet-friendly Fishermans Cottage is steeped in history and situated just 180 metres up a hill above Perranporth beach. A few steps lead up to the property and the entrance hall then leads into the kitchen/dining area, fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a folding table with chairs.
The sitting room is semi open-plan to the kitchen and is furnished in a homely style with sofa, TV, DVD player, and an electric fire set in an ornamental slate fireplace. The bathroom is also downstairs, fitted with a shower over the bath, basin and WC.
An open staircase from the sitting room ascends to the gallery bedroom furnished with a double bed (4'6”) and bedroom furniture. The cottage is heated by night storage heaters in the sitting room and bedroom.
Fishermans Cottage has a south-facing terrace overlooking the town and upper reaches of the beach. A small enclosed patio area includes a patio table and chairs from which to sit and enjoy stunning Cornish sunsets, or a morning cup of coffee in the fresh sea air.
Perranporth is a popular seaside resort on Cornwall's north coast, with three miles of dog-friendly golden sands, a sea water swimming pool and some of the best swimming and surfing in the county. Close by, the South West Coast Path provides spectacular walks to St Agnes to the south and Newquay to the north, and golf, fishing and horse riding are also all available in the local area.
Parking for Fishermans Cottage is available in a nearby car park just up the hill; a weekly ticket is supplied by Duchy Holidays.
