This impressive detached house, to sleep eleven, is in a peaceful countryside location ten minutes' level walk to Perranporth's village shops, cafes and bars, and just a further five minutes stroll to feel the sand between your toes on the beautiful three-mile long sandy beach.


Well-equipped and very spacious, Grey Roofs is an excellent base for an extended family get-together, or for two families holidaying together. Boasting five large bedrooms, three bathrooms, two private garages and a private driveway for parking, it also has a lovely large sheltered south-facing garden with a stream, and patio areas from which to enjoy lunches outside in the sun.

Fully equipped, the kitchen provides a built-in double oven and hob, microwave, larder fridge, freezer and a dishwasher, and has recently had a new floor laid. A utility area with sink and drying area is handy for wetsuits and beach gear and also houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

A large table in the dining room seats eleven plus there are also two wooden toddler chairs. The comfortable lounge is furnished with seating for ten plus a large floor cushion, a TV, DVD and CD player, and a solid fuel burner. Plenty of books and board games ensure there's entertainment even on drizzly days.

Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms, both with a basin and ample storage space. Bedroom one is furnished with pine bunk beds (3' each), and bedroom two has a double bed (4'6"). A bathroom on this floor is fitted with a walk-in shower, bath and basin. A separate WC and basin are in the room adjacent.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is furnished with a double bed (4'6"), enjoys a seating area with garden view, and has an en suite with a shower, WC and basin. Bedroom four also has lovely garden views, three single beds (3' each) and an en suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and basin. Bedroom five is furnished with two single beds (3' each), and a TV, DVD player and video player with a large selection of children's videos. Bedrooms four and five have a connecting door between them, as well as each having their own main door into the hallway.

The conservatory at Grey Roofs makes a lovely morning suntrap and has been set up as a playroom with toys, games and table football to occupy younger members of the family. The property is heated by oil central heating, has Wifi, and welcomes up to two dogs on bookings all year round.

Outside, the large enclosed south-facing garden provides several areas to sit out in the sunshine, eat alfresco or relax with a glass of wine. A large wooden table and benches on the main house patio seat 12, and a barbecue is available (guests are asked to provide their own coal). The two garages can be used for parking, or a useful storage space for boards and bikes, and there is additional parking on the driveway for at least four cars.
