Perran View Holiday Village is a lovely family holiday park situated in the hamlet of Trevellas, mid-way between the vibrant and beautiful seaside resorts of Perranporth and St Agnes. Offering great facilities and also entertainment at Easter and in the peak season, it's only a few minutes' drive to the beautiful north coast beaches of Trevaunance Cove, Trevellas Porth and Perranporth.
A lovely spacious three bedroom house, Kath's Cottage is arranged over two floors with bedroom one on the ground floor, furnished with two single beds (3' each). The open plan living room with kitchen/diner is also on the ground floor and is fully equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and a dining table with four chairs and a high chair.
The living room is very comfortably furnished with two leather sofas (one converts to a sofa bed for alternative sleeping arrangements), and a wall-mounted HD TV and DVD player are above the log effect electric fireplace.
Upstairs bedroom two has a double bed (4'6") and bedroom three offers two single divan beds (3' each). This twin room enjoys lovely countryside views across to St Agnes Beacon and beyond. All bedrooms have electric wall heaters and ample storage space. The bathroom is also on this first floor and is fitted with a shower over the bath, WC and basin.
From mid-March to the end of October Perran View Holiday Village guests have use of the free indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and crazy golf. There's also a children's play area, tennis courts and family entertainment in the clubhouse. An on-site launderette, shop, bars, restaurant and take-away all make for a hassle-free holiday. Wifi is available in the lobby area of the holiday village. Parking is in the nearby on-site car, and cars can pull up outside the property to unload luggage.
Trevellas Porth is the nearest beach and can be walked to in 25 minutes. Known locally as 'Blue Hills', this is a small beach in an old mining area - there are many engine houses and chimneys still to be seen - and is popular with fishermen and snorklers. Trevaunance Cove's popular sandy bay can be reached a further 15 minutes' (quite challenging) walk along the beautiful coast path from here.
Only ten minutes' drive from the amenities, shops, cafes and beaches of Perranporth to the north and St Agnes to the south, Kath's Cottage is ideally placed on the north coast to explore the rest that Cornwall has to offer: nine miles to both the cathedral city of Truro and beaches of Newquay, and within easy driving distance of numerous attractions and places of interest including the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Padstow, St Ives and Falmouth.
