A beautiful, spacious terraced cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Bolingey, Seacroft is a delightful family holiday property, with superb countryside and distant sea views.
A roomy hallway leads into this beautifully presented house. The kitchen is bright and spacious, fully equipped with ample worksurfaces, electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. An open plan sitting room and dining room is comfortably furnished with a dining table and eight chairs, deep comfy sofas and chairs, a TV (with Sky TV full package including movies and sports), and a DVD player. French doors open out to the rear garden and a decked area with garden furniture, from which to sit and enjoy an alfresco lunch with stunning country and coastal views.
Also downstairs is a large bedroom with double bed (4'6”), a double fold-out sofa bed for alternative sleeping arrangements, and patio doors to the garden. An en suite wet room is fitted with a shower, WC and basin, and a kitchenette next to the bedroom could make this a ground floor self-contained space for some of the guests if desired. The kitchenette provides an electric cooker and hob, microwave and fridge.
Upstairs are four more bedrooms, all tastefully presented, with bedroom storage and TVs and DVD players. Bedroom one has a king-sized bed (5'), bedrooms two and three are furnished with a double bed in each (4'6” each) and bedroom four with twin beds (3'). Also upstairs is the family bathroom, fitted with a bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and basin.
Outside, there are flowering shrubs at the front of the house and parking for two or three cars. At the rear of the house is a large enclosed lawned garden with raised decked area and outdoor furniture. The property has gas central heating for chillier days.
Seacroft is in the hamlet of Bolingey, a lovely peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the seaside, yet still only one and half miles from Perranporth's shops, bars and three mile sandy beach (30 minutes' walk away, or three minutes' drive). A short walk from Seacroft is the Bolingey Inn, a delightful traditional pub dating from the 17th century, and there are many activities nearby including beautiful walks, horse riding and golf.
Seacroft is also ideally located to explore the rest of Cornwall: the cathedral city of Truro, spectacular beaches in Newquay, marine heritage of Falmouth and art of St Ives are all within easy reach by car, as is the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and many National Trust managed attractions.
Please note this property does not provide towels or tea towels. Towels can be hired from us at £6 per person (one bath towel and one hand towel), or feel free to bring your own.
