Starboard has space for two cars to park on the driveway at the front, and the entrance to the house is then up a few steps. On the ground floor an open plan sitting- and dining room enjoys triple aspect views with large folding doors to the front and double doors to a patio area. The dining table seats eight and a large comfortable sofa, two armchairs and a TV with DVD player provides a relaxing place to put your feet up at the end of a busy day sightseeing.
The fully equipped kitchen is fitted with integrated appliances including a double electric oven and hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and combination washing machine and tumble dryer. Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom with WC and basin. On the second floor there are three spacious bedrooms and the family bathroom. Bedroom one is furnished with a king-sized bed (5') and has wonderful views from the windows and also double opening doors to a balcony.
Bedroom two has bunk beds (2'6?), and bedroom three is furnished with twin beds (small singles 2'6? each). The bathroom, with feature porthole window, is fitted with a bath and hand held shower, WC and basin.
Upstairs to the top floor, the light and roomy master bedroom has a king-sized bed (5'), beautiful views, and an en suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC and basin. The landing outside the bedroom gives access to a balcony - a fantastic place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the far reaching views. (Please ensure that children are supervised on the balcony.) Starboard is heated by thermostatically controlled electric wall mounted heaters in each room.
Outside, there is an enclosed patio with barbecue and garden furniture for al fresco dining and entertaining, and also a lawned area (up a few steps). Please note that the lawn is not enclosed from the neighbouring property's garden. The rear garden has a washing line, a small shed useful for storing boards and beach equipment, and an outside tap for rinsing wetsuits. One small dog is welcome during the low season (not in the school holidays).
Perranporth's magnificent three mile beach, access to the South West Coast Path, children's park, boating lake, independent shops, bars and restaurants are all within a five minute walk. Numerous tourist attractions and places of interest can be found within a 30 minute drive, including the Eden Project, Newquay's beaches, the cathedral city of Truro and National Trust properties and sub-tropical gardens.
