Property Description

The View is a spacious and sunny modern reverse level property enjoying wonderful beach and sea views from its elevated position in the sand dunes.


One of a pair of detached houses, a shared driveway between the properties leads to the back of the buildings and opens out to a large parking area with space for three cars for The View. Access to the house is via either the front or the back into a spacious hallway. High ceilings and glass sided wooden stairs ascending from the hall make the space light and airy.


Downstairs four bedrooms sleep eight. Bedrooms one and two are at the front of the house and each benefit from an en suite shower room and patio doors opening out to the lawned front garden. Bedroom one (the master bedroom) is furnished with a super king-sized bed (6'), large wardrobe, desk and chair, and wall-mounted TV. The en suite is fitted with a shower cubicle with rainhead shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin.


Bedroom two also has an en suite shower room with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, WC and basin and is furnished with a king-sized bed (5'), wall-mounted TV, and matching bedroom furniture including a chest of drawers, desk and chair.  

The other two bedrooms have twin beds (3') in each, chest of drawers and wall-mounted TVs. The fully tiled family bathroom on the ground floor is fitted with a shower over the bath, heated towel rail, WC and basin.


Upstairs, the spacious main living area is dominated by huge floor to ceiling Apex windows which afford outstanding views of the beach and sea to one side, and lovely countryside views to the other. A wood burner (coupled with underfloor heating) ensures the space is cosy on cooler days, whilst on warm days the sliding patio doors can be opened to fully appreciate the impressive views from the balcony which runs the whole width of the front of the house. Outdoor chairs and bean bags are available to sit out and make the most of those impressive views from the balcony.


The large and airy open plan lounge and dining room is stylishly furnished with a big wooden dining table, eight leather dining chairs and sideboard. In the lounge two 2-seater leather sofas, a matching armchair, and three bucket chairs provide comfortable seating from which to enjoy the view or watch the 55" TV and DVD player.


The fully fitted grey gloss kitchen comprises an integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, and marble worksurfaces. The sink is set into a large island, bringing the kitchen and living areas together. Also on this floor are a small utility room where the washing machine is housed, as well as a sink and the airing cupboard. In addition, there is a separate upstairs cloakroom with WC and basin.


The private back garden for The View is accessed up a flight of shared external steps from the parking area, and a path leads up to the decking and summer house (the garden has been seeded with wild flowers, so please keep to the path). Beautiful views can be enjoyed from sun loungers stored in the summer house in this elevated position. Wonderful views can also be enjoyed down to the beach and across to Chapel Rock from the small lawn at the front of the house. A picnic bench and additional outdoor chairs make this is an ideal place for al fresco evening meals watching the sun set over the sea.


At the front of the house a path leads down to the dunes and the golden sands of Perranporth's three-mile beach which can be reached within five minutes, and the shops and cafes of the village within an easy ten-minute walk. Perranporth is a small but bustling seaside resort on Cornwall's north coast. Best known for its beach, the soft sand is perfect for sandcastle building, the waves are great for surfing, and there are breathtaking views from the clifftop along the coast path to St Agnes to the south or Holywell Bay to the north. Perranporth is also an ideal location from which to explore the rest of Cornwall: the cathedral city of Truro and beautiful beaches of Newquay are only nine miles away, and The Eden Project, Falmouth, Padstow and St Ives no more than 40 minutes' drive.
