Located in Goonown, a lovely little hamlet ten minutes' walk from the beautiful and bustling village of St Agnes, Little End is a beautifully presented cosy end of terrace cottage, perfect for a couple or family holiday (including the dog!) to Cornwall's stunning north coast.
Little End is a traditional Cornish cottage with exposed brickwork and beams, furnished and decorated in a light, comfortable and modern style. The front door opens to the hallway with space for coats and shoes and then into an inviting open plan living room and kitchen with exposed beamed ceilings and wooden floor. The kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, free standing fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and two stools at a breakfast bar.
A dining table and four chairs are positioned at a window seat area, and a large grey L-shaped sofa and wall-mounted Smart TV provide a comfy place to sit and relax at the end of a busy day sightseeing or at the beach! Please note the open fire is not in use. The fully tiled bathroom is also on the ground floor, with a shower fitted over the bath, a WC and basin.
Upstairs two bedrooms sleep up to four guests. Bedroom one is furnished with a king-size bed (5') and bedroom two has a single bed (3') with another pull-out single beneath (3'). The property is heated by oil central heating and on-road parking is available on the quiet street opposite. One small well behaved dog is welcome (to be kept off the furniture).
An enclosed front courtyard offers a lovely space to sit out at the garden table and chairs to enjoy a barbecue or evening drink. The popular pebbly beach at Trevaunance Cove is a little over a mile away (20 minutes' walk or a five minute drive), great for rock pooling, picnicking, surfing, and swimming in the clear blue water.
Nearby St Agnes can be walked to in ten minutes and boasts a range of artisan shops, independent galleries, and a great choice of fantastic restaurants and cafes, and Perranporth, with its independent high street and three miles of sandy beach is ten minutes' drive away. The cathedral city of Truro and stunning beaches of Newquay are both less than ten miles away and a variety of Cornwall's best tourist attractions and places of interest can all be found within a short drive, including the Eden Project, National Trust properties and sub-tropical gardens, St Ives, Padstow and Falmouth.
