One of only four Beach Houses in the stunning development The Dunes in Perranporth, built on the site of the old Ponsmere Hotel, Cloud Nine is a beautiful three-storey stylish family property to sleep eight, in an exceptional location with sweeping coastal views.
Downstairs, a wood effect floored hallway leads to the master bedroom which is furnished with a king-sized bed (5'), mirrored wardrobe and sliding patio doors opening to the ground floor terrace. An outside table and chairs (available from summer 2019) make this a gloriously relaxing space to sit back and enjoy the incredible views across Perranporth's beautiful sandy beach, with the added convenience of an external tap and power sockets too.
An en suite shower room is fitted with a large shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail, and also has an external door to the terrace: perfect for heading straight in after a day on the beach, to rinse off.
An internal door from the hall opens into the garage, and a flight of stairs ascends up to the first floor and three more bedrooms. The second bedroom also has a king-sized bed (5'), a mirrored wardrobe, chest of drawers, and a Smart TV. The windows look out to the same spectacular beach and sea views, and an en suite is fitted with large shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
Two further bedrooms, both with twin beds (3' each) and wardrobes, enjoy a lovely sunny countryside aspect, and all the bedrooms benefit from high quality mattresses, woollen duvets, and a choice of feather and hollow-fibre pillows to provide the utmost comfort and luxury.
The fully tiled family bathroom on this floor offers a bath with shower over it, WC, basin, heated towel rail, and large mirror. A large cupboard on the landing houses the combination washer dryer.
A second flight of stairs lead up to the top floor which is a large, bright and spacious open plan room, dominated by the breathtaking view. Huge windows with sliding double patio doors afford uninterrupted vistas from the balcony across the vast expanse of Perranporth beach, sea and sand dunes. The balcony has reinforced glass walls for an unspoilt outlook, and on bright days you might like to take lunch on the balcony looking out over the beach, watching the surfers and listening to the crash of the waves. (There are eight fold up chairs to use on the balcony, and an outdoor table will be available from summer 2019).
Two sofas, two comfy chairs and a beanbag have been arranged to overlook the beach from the sitting room, and there is also a Smart TV and DVD player for when the view fades with the sun at the end of the day! At the opposite end of the room is the kitchen and dining area and a lovely sunny back balcony with sliding glass doors - a lovely place to sit for a coffee in the morning sunshine.
The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, electric double oven and induction hob, microwave, large integrated fridge and freezer and built-in wine cooler. The kitchen worksurfaces are made from quartz, and an island in the centre of this bright and spacious room has three bar stools from which to enjoy breakfast, in addition to a large glass topped dining table to seat eight.
The house has been fully equipped with comfortable stylish furnishings and all modern conveniences including superfast Wifi, triple glazing throughout, individual heating thermostats in each room, heating via a ground source heat pump, and a Nuaire air flow system. A secure garage at the front of the property and a second allocated parking bay provide two parking spaces. The property welcomes pets and will accept up to two dogs all year round.
It takes less than a minute to stroll from the front door to the beach where you'll find three miles of dog friendly golden sand and great surf (some restrictions apply to dogs in the peak season). And en route to the beach, literally just around the corner from Cloud Nine, are new eateries The Summer House, a fine dining restaurant, and the cafe bar Alcatraz, both overlooking the beach.
