A delightful first floor apartment with a light and fresh coastal style, Penhale boasts sea views from the living room and double bedroom and is conveniently located only five minutes' walk from Perranporth village's shops, bars, restaurants, magnificent three-mile long sandy beach and great surf.
Penhale is a self-contained first floor apartment above the owner's accommodation, within a detached house. Sleeping up to three people, it can be booked with neighbouring apartment Droskyn (DRO599) - which sleeps two - for larger groups holidaying together.
A side door opens to communal stairs that lead up to Penhale on the first floor. The open plan kitchen and lounge enjoy wonderful views from two lovely large sash windows and is fully equipped and fitted with electric cooker and hob, microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment. A dining table with three chairs provides a dining space and the sitting room area is furnished with a sofa, armchair, small TV and DVD player.
The light and comfortable bedroom also has views to the beach and is furnished with a double bed (4'6") and ample bedroom furniture. Lie in bed and look out to the sea in the morning or listen to the rhythmic roar of the waves as you fall asleep at night.
The tiled bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, WC, basin and heated towel rail. A cot and highchair are both available, and a sofa bed can be provided on request for additional sleeping arrangements.
Penhale is heated by fixed electric heaters and there is parking for one car on the drive at the front of the house. One small to medium sized dog is welcome. There is no garden, however outdoor seating at a bistro table and chairs is provided at the ground-level entrance to the apartment.
Perranporth is a lively seaside community offering surfing, kite surfing, golf, horse-riding, tennis, bowling and gliding. The towering cliffs above the beach provide spectacular natural scenery, and the South West Coast Path has stunning walks either north to Newquay or south to St Agnes.
Perranporth boasts a beautiful three mile long beach with golden sand and good surf, numerous shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and is ideally placed on the north coast to explore the rest that Cornwall has to offer: just eight miles to the cathedral city of Truro; and Padstow, St Ives and Falmouth all within an easy 40 minute drive.
