Enjoy truly exceptional views of the sand dunes, beach and sea from Sunset Beach, a first floor, pet-friendly apartment literally metres from Perranporth's three mile stretch of golden sand.

The end property within a small complex of beachside apartments in Perranporth, you can't stay much closer to the sand than at Sunset Beach. This comfortable and welcoming property is reached up a flight of external steps to the front door. A fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, radio, fridge/freezer and ample crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment.

The sitting and dining room is spacious and provides outstanding views down to the sea. Furnished with two sofas (one of which is a sofabed), a rocking chair, TV and DVD player, the room also has a box of children's toys and a number of DVDs in the cupboard to keep the family entertained.

The dining area has an extendable table with six chairs (two more chairs can be brought through from the bedrooms if needed) and is positioned by large sliding windows to make the most of the stunning sea view. During the day it's a prime spot to sit back and watch the world go by, and in the evening you can enjoy Perranporth's spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your holiday home as the sun sinks into the sea.

Two bedrooms sleep six guests, and an extra two can be accommodated on the sofabed in the lounge. Bedroom one has sturdy wooden twin beds (3' each) and a fitted wardrobe, inside which are stored board games, windbreaks, four folding chairs and two folding children's chairs for the beach.

Bedroom two is a family room, furnished with a double bed (4'6") and bunk beds (3' each). A wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables provide ample storage, and the room benefits from those incredible views across the beach to Chapel Rock and the shimmering Atlantic Ocean.

The bathroom is fitted with a shower over the bath, WC, basin and electric fan heater. The rest of the apartment is heated by electric heaters fitted in each room and the windows are double glazed. A coin operated electricity meter takes £1 and £2 coins, and there is a coin operated launderette a short walk from the apartment for the use of Sand Bay visitors. Sunset Beach accepts one well behaved dog.

The apartment is approached via a narrow private driveway leading to the shared parking area where there is one allocated parking space for Sunset Beach (number 10). If needed, an additional parking space can be arranged from Sand Bay reception, at an extra cost of £10. Please note that due to an archway the parking area is limited to 7'4" height and 6'7" wide.

A two-minute level walk takes you to Perranporth's independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, and access to some of the best coastline in the country. Within the local vicinity is an excellent 18-hole golf course, horse riding, gliding, surfing and kite-surfing, tennis, bowling, a boating lake and children's playpark. The cathedral city of Truro is nine miles away as is Newquay with its beautiful beaches, and other places of interest such as Padstow, Falmouth ad St Ives are within an easy half hour drive.
